The Washington State Legislative Session ended on Sunday, April 28, 2019. More than 2,200 bills were introduced this session.  Twenty-eight bills that are aligned with PTA goals have now been signed into law.  The bills signed into law include bills affecting graduation requirements, education funding, and more.  Check out this document detailing the bills that have been tracked by the PTA through the session.  Also, you can read this great article highlighting the key points of the passing bills.

Thanks to all who were actively engaged in this legislative session.  The letters, emails, and phone calls to legislators let them know we are watching and we care!  Have a great summer break, Echo Lake!
